Position Summary
The engagement manager owns the customer solution. With strong analytic skills, a track record of sound business judgment, and demonstrated client and team leadership, engagement managers are responsible for the deployment of best in class solutions and leading services. The engagement manager aligns activities to customer needs and leads the day to day activities of internal teams.
Position Responsibilities
- Translate customer business objectives into actionable steps for achievement
- Work with customer and TPS management to ensure continual deployment of optimal customer solutions
- Provide content/ domain expertise and advisory services to align solution to business needs
- Manage day to day activities of cross-functional team of analysts and technical professionals
- Maintain project schedule and ensure adherence to established protocols for deliverables and change management
- Communicate effectively and appropriately to customer and internal audiences
- Develop insights, metrics, and techniques that contribute to clients’ success
Position Requirements
Education: BS/ BA preferably in a quantitative field of study
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of analytic, services or consulting experience with increasing leadership responsibilities. Additionally, we look for:
- Self-motivated, exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and follow-through on multiple complex efforts under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated customer leadership and effective communication/ presentation skills
- Superb project management, coordination skills in a demanding environment
- Experience leading cross functional teams of high-achieving professionals and developing talent
- Knowledge of best practices to integrate and analyze data. Experience utilizing advanced analytic techniques and sophisticated software tools and database software, and familiarity with Life Sciences’ sales and marketing data is a plus
